liquid, motion, light, salmon
come together in endless permutations
of generous beauty
an ancient migration story
salmon returning home
to spawn in cool, clear streams
color in the water
calling seal, bear, eagle, man
to follow, feeding all
under the September moon
the water glows
with the spirit of salmon
